Why the Social Media is a Force of Destruction!

What do you think of social media? Has it been a force of change or has it been detrimental to our well-being? Although everything has both positive and negative side, my experience is that the social media has been overall negative.

A long time ago, I used to read newspapers the first thing in the morning. Not these days. I do not even subscribe to any newspaper or magazines. Yet, as soon as I get online, I have to start feeling sad. Even though I do not like it at all, if I have to check my Facebook for any message, then I end up feeling negative vibes as soon as I see "manhoos" faces of politicians and their bootlickers. When it comes to the politics of Nepal, we are already experiencing the worst scenario in our lifetime, then there is the social media impact. Now the politicos are running gangs of cyber "sena" to spread fake news. Thank you Donald Trump. Nepal is now bearing the brunt of unethical, criminal-minded people.

That is terrible, but nothing like the other far more serious issue. This shows clearly the Western evil intention to destroy Nepal and its tradition. Just look at the image below and think about what it means. Have you ever imagine this day would come in Nepal? I never expected this. These are the people who would not have had anything to utter of use had they not been financed, armed and encouraged to dissent by the Western countries that paid handsomely the "on-sale" leaders to make Nepal into a republic, secular and federal. That was designed abroad by the same forces.

I wonder where the cyber unit of Nepal police is and why they are not doing anything against such hateful posts?

The worst thing social media has done is probably the role of Facebook in selling the data of more than 76 million users that changed the election result of the 2016 election. Nothing in the world could be so damaging and irreversible. The country continues to divide into two opposing factions so much so that it is likely to disintegrate. Americans can't live with each other.

Social media has actually divided the world into small factions and allowed people to close their minds and hide behind a facade of narrow groups that allow for hate and violence against those who are not in their circle. What is happening in the US is just a beginning and it is going to spread all around the world. The seeds are being planted in Nepal and if we fail to take strong action against the foreigners and their sponsored agents here, we are heading for a hellish living. That is what social media has done to the world.
